Castle leads Team C to Rising Stars title, advance to Sunday’s All-Star game

Stephon Castle led Team C (Chris
Mullin) to a 25-14 victory over Team G League in the championship
game of the 2025 NBA Castrol Rising Stars title game Friday night
at the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend at Chase Center in San
Francisco.
The San Antonio Spurs rookie
scored 12 points in the final game to deliver Team C the victory.
He was awarded the MVP of the Rising Stars game
afterwards.
Utah Jazz sophomore Keyonte
George delivered the game-winning basket with a running 27-foot
three to seal the win.
With this victory, Castle and
Team C will now go on to compete in the biggest stage on Sunday at
the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. This year, the league has introduced a
new format where the champion of the rising stars game will compete
against one of the three teams of the all-stars.
Team C will do battle against
Team Shaq’s OG’s team with notable names such as LeBron James,
Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant on All-Star Sunday night still at
the Chase Center in San Francisco.
