Sports News, Transfers and Scores:
Devin Booker becomes Phoenix Suns’ all-time leading scorer

In a historic moment for the
Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker has surpassed Walter Davis to become the
franchise’s all-time leading scorer. Booker achieved this milestone
during a game against the Portland Trail Blazers, where he scored
34 points, bringing his career total to 15,668 points.
Booker, a four-time All-Star,
reached this achievement in his 10th season with the Suns, having
played 642 games since being drafted in 2015. He surpassed Walter
Davis, a six-time All-Star who held the previous record with 15,666
points over 766 games between 1977 and 1988.
Despite Booker’s personal
accomplishment, the Suns fell to the TrailBlazers in a 121-119
overtime loss. Former Suns center Deandre Ayton contributed
significantly to Portland’s victory with 25 points and a
season-high 20 rebounds.
Booker’s ascent to the top of
the Suns’ scoring list underscores his significant impact on the
franchise and solidifies his place among the NBA’s elite
players.
