Stephen Curry reaches 25,000-point milestone

Golden State Warriors superstar
Stephen Curry achieved another significant career milestone when he
surpassed 25,000 career points on March 9 in the Warriors’ 115-110
victory over the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center.
Curry reached this landmark with
a three-pointer in the third quarter, and by doing so became the
26th player in NBA history to reach or surpass the mark.
This is another important
achievement for the newly-minted Olympic champion, with fellow OG’s
LeBron James and Kevin Durant reaching 50,000 points and 30,000
points, respectively.
The game continues to highlight
these three global superstars as they continue to dominate the game
even with their advanced age.
The 36-year-old sharpshooter
finished the game with 32 points, leading the Warriors to their
11th win in 13 games and 11-1 since acquiring Jimmy
Butler.
Teammate Draymond Green ensured
the game ball was preserved for Curry, highlighting the
significance of the achievement.
Curry’s milestone underscores
his enduring excellence and pivotal role in the Warriors’ success
over the years. As he continues to ascend the all-time scoring
list, his legacy as one of the game’s greatest shooters remains
firmly intact.
