Brooklyn Nets guard D’Angelo
Russell has expressed his appreciation for the team’s playing
style, emphasizing the freedom it affords him on the court.
Reflecting on his experience, Russell stated, “Dude, I’ll never
take being able to play free basketball like this for granted,
again.” 

Since joining the Nets, Russell
has adapted to a system that prioritizes player autonomy and
fluidity. He highlighted the organization’s performance team,
noting, “They keep guys fresh, they keep guys in shape. They keep
them prepared for the minutes and the load that they’re about to
play in.” 

Coach Fernández praised

and court vision. “I think he was outstanding. His engagement,
communication, attention, everything. Obviously, we try to keep it
simple,” Fernández remarked.
